Cleaveland Clinic

In 2014, The Journal of Patient Experience was founded in affiliation with The Cleveland Clinic Office of Patient Experience. Their philanthropic funding contributions continue to empower our mission today. The Cleveland Clinic is a nonprofit multispecialty academic medical center that integrates clinical and hospital care with research and education.

We partner with ICHOM on a special collection of articles “Exploring the Relationship between Patient Experience, Health Outcomes, and Value-based Care”. We encourage submissions form the ICHOM community, as well as all who wish to contribute to the value-based care conversation with research and actionable-insights. The Gold Foundation

In affiliation with The Gold Foundation, we will announce a new Special Collection in Fall 2024 “The Intersection of Humanism in Healthcare and Patient Experience”. Stay tuned for details.
The Gold Foundation champions humanism in healthcare, which we define as kind, safe, trustworthy care. This Gold standard of care embraces all and targets barriers to such care. We empower experts, learners, and leaders to together create systems and cultures that support humanistic care for all.

We serve as a primary supporter of this important industry event that convenes professionals, leaders, researchers, patient representatives, and industry experts for an annual in-person event. Our Editor-in-Chief has led as the 2023 and 2024 Chairperson and ensures high-quality content and speakers. The event is hosted by ICD, an International Conference Development group connecting healthcare professionals from around the world to share knowledge, expertise, and best practices. Through education, collaboration, and innovation, we can collectively elevate the quality of healthcare for all.
